LalBrew Abbaye™ is a Belgian high-fermentation yeast. Selected for its ability to ferment beers with low or high alcohol content, LalBrew Abbaye™ produces the spicy and fruity character typical of Belgian and Trappist beers.In fermentation at high temperatures, the typical flavors and aromas consist of tropical, spicy, and banana notes. At low temperatures, LalBrew Abbaye™ produces aromas of dark fruits and dried fruits: raisin, date, fig. The traditional styles brewed with this yeast include, among others, Belgian white beer, Belgian blonde beer, Golden, Dubbel, Tripel, and Quadrupel.
