Originating from a triploid cross conducted in 2012 by Dr. Ron Beatson as part of an innovative breeding program, Superdelic was quickly noted for its high yields, natural resistance, and powerful fruity notes. By 2017, it was selected for large-scale trials at the NZ Hops pilot farm.
