OIO's Toasted Rice Flakes are a pre-gelatinized flake produced exclusively for brewing. The flaked rice brings very little flavor and body to the beer. It is the perfect ingredient for brewing smooth, neutral and crisp beers.
For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to use a low mash temperature and increase the enzymatic conversion time by approximately 15 minutes.
There is no need to grind the rice flakes, their large surface area making the starch easily soluble in the mash.
