Bravo is a proprietary hop owned by Hopsteiner that emerged in the early 2000s as a super alpha variety. Its high concentration of alpha acid quickly made Bravo the preferred bittering hop for professional and amateur brewers alike. Despite its highly respected reputation as a bittering hop, Bravo is not as one-dimensional as it may seem. When used for its aromatic qualities, it also brings notes of candied lime and sweet fruits that pair well in IPAs, Pale Ales, and Red Ales.
The Bravo hop has largely the same flavor profile as the Chinook, the Columbus (CTZ), and the Warrior.
Aromas: orange, candied lime, fruity, floral
