Yeeastex 82 contains a formulation of specific yeast nutrients to increase yeast viability and activity during fermentation. The final attenuation is reached in a shorter time.
This formulation contains high levels of nitrogen and inorganic and organic vitamins. Yeeastex 82 is particularly useful for low Free Amino Nitrogen (FAN) malts and for high gravity brewing. The manufacturer recommends suspending Yeeastex 82 in a little water and adding it to the kettle, about 15 minutes before the end of the boil.
Dosage : 30-50 ppm (0.03g/l - 0.05g/l) eg a 20 liter recipe should use between 0.6g and 1g of nutrients.
Caution : Avoid breathing fine dust. Do not put more than the recommendation because it could harm the fermentation.
