Briess Crystal 10L is a crystallized and drum-roasted malt. It helps improve foam hold, viscosity and imparts light golden hues to the wort with a sweet, candy-like taste. It evokes sweet, caramel and toffee flavors.
Suggested levels of use according to styles.
3-7% for a balanced pilsner.
5-10% for lagers ranging from California Common, Vienna, Bock to dark lagers.
5-15% for a multitude of beers, ranging from pale ales to bitter IPAs, porters and stouts.
