Omega Yeast's Cosmic Punch®Ale yeast is a "thiolized" version of the popular hazy strain, British Ale V (OYL-011). Cosmic Punch®Ale generates thiols during biotransformation, releasing tropical fruit flavors typically found in Southern Hemisphere hops and New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc clusters. This hard-hitting strain unleashes potent notes of grapefruit, passion fruit and guava. Expect the same performance and haze as the British V, but with added thiol flavors. Experiment with mash hopping or grape-derived products, such as Phantasm, to produce even more thiols.
