The Special B malt comes from the Dingemans malting, located in Belgium. Its unique double-drying process gives it an intense taste of caramel as well as a raisin flavor. It can be used instead of Chocolate Malt or Black Malt in some abbey beers. It fits well in Dubbel, Stout, Dark Ale, Quadrupel style beer recipes.
